Before you order

The things people ask before they spend. If yours is not here, write to us — a person answers, and the answer usually ends up on this page.

Buying here

What a piece is, what it costs to get to you, and what happens if the colour is not right.

Is there a minimum order?
No. Everything is sold by the piece and one piece is the minimum, whether you are trimming a single blouse or a season's production.
What is a piece?
A wound length, not a metre. Most designs come on a nine metre put-up and some on eighteen. Every product page states its own put-up, because that is the number that decides whether one piece is enough for your hem.
What does delivery cost?
Prepaid orders over ₹349 ship free. Below that a charge applies, and cash on delivery is available if you would rather pay when it arrives.
Will the colour match the photograph?
Close, not exact. Every screen renders differently and metallics are the hardest of all to judge from a photograph — antique gold especially. Send us the shade you are matching to on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it is the right one before you order.
I bought from the old shop. Is my account still here?
Yes. Your order history came across, and you can sign in with the username you used before as well as your email address. If the password does not work, use the reset link and it will.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes, on orders over ₹20,000. Tick the box at checkout and give us your GSTIN, and we raise the invoice against it and email it once the order is packed — it does not come with the order confirmation. Below ₹20,000 the confirmation is your receipt.
How do I find the same design again next season?
By its article number — S4394B, TL5798D. It identifies the design on its own, and typing it into the search box at the top of any page brings it straight back.

A particular design

Questions asked with a product page open.

How long is one piece?
Most designs are wound on a nine metre put-up, and some on eighteen. The exact length for this design is listed above as its put-up, because it is the number that decides whether one piece is enough.
How do I order this again next time?
Write down the article number. It identifies the design on its own, and typing it into the search box at the top of any page brings you straight back here.
What if it is out of stock?
The page says so rather than hiding it, and you can leave an email address on the design. We write to you when the new lot lands.
Can I see a trim before I buy it?
Yes. The test card carries six real trims, 60mm of each, mounted and labelled with the article number and the shade, for Rs. 200 posted anywhere in India.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. You can browse, price and check out as a guest. An account only makes it easier to find your way back to what you ordered.

A whole range

Comparing across a category rather than judging one trim.

Can I buy a single piece from this range?
Yes. There is no minimum on any design here, and nothing in this range is sold only by the bundle.
How do I know the width before it arrives?
The width in millimetres is listed on the design and in its specification, and it is the measurement to check against your seam before you order. Hold a ruler to that number rather than judging the photograph, which is shot close.
How do I compare two designs in this range?
By their specifications rather than their photographs: technique, width, put-up and how many colourways exist, listed the same way on each. Where we do not hold a figure it is left out rather than guessed at.

Ask a person

Especially about colour. We will hold the trim against the shade you are matching and tell you honestly whether it works.
